DALY CITY, Calif. Wholesale Jerseys . -- Stacy Lewis noted that she was 29 and playing partner Lydia Ko was 17 when talking about their contrasting approaches to a storm delay Friday in the Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic. "I think you try to stay patient during the delay more than anything, and try to stay loose," Lewis said. "I didnt sit down too much. Tried to stay up." Ko did the opposite. "I sat down, had some chicken soup, played some cards," Ko said. "I was totally relaxed." But she was careful to avoid hot chocolate. "I had a cup of hot chocolate before during a delay and next hole I hit it out of bounds," Ko said. "My mom brought me a cup and I was like, Oh, that better not be hot chocolate." Lewis overcame rain and hail to take the second-round lead, shooting her second straight 3-under 69 at Lake Merced. Winless since the Womens British Open in August, the third-ranked Lewis had a one-stroke lead over Ko and first-round leader Karine Icher. "We all went into the day knowing it would play hard," said Lewis, who has five runner-up finishes since her victory at St. Andrews. ""It was a test of patience. I took it one shot at a time and wanted to get the ball into the hole as fast as I could. Fortunately, I was able to do that." Ko had a 71, and Icher followed her opening 66 with a 73. Lewis and Ko played alongside Michelle Wie, dealing with heavy rain and hail that suspended play for just over an hour. Play resumed in steady drizzle that gave way to sunny afternoon conditions that helped several of the late starters. Wie, the winner last week in Hawaii, was even par after her second 72. The weather wavered between a slight mist and light shower before pounding the course just after noon, forcing the suspension at 12:36 p.m. "I honestly thought wed get it done," Lewis said. "Then we got to seven and it just poured. We had to call off Lydia from her putt when it started to hail." Ko, who turned 17 on Thursday and was named among TIME magazines 100 most influential people, thought she could get her putt in before being called off. "I was crazy and out of my mind thinking about putting in the hail," Ko said. "It started getting dark and Im glad I was called off." Ko returned to the course and made the putt. Icher was tied for the lead with Lewis at 5 under when the horn sounded. "I ate a little and dried my clothes," Icher said. "Rain delays are never fun but it happens. Being in the top five to start the tournament is pretty good, definitely my best start this year." Top-ranked Inbee Park, Mika Miyazato and Ilhee Lee were three strokes back at 3 under. Park had a 68 in the afternoon, Miyazato shot 69, and Lee had a 73. "It was a very good putting day and I hit a lot of fairways," Park said. "I got a little lucky with the weather. I only had to play in the rain for four holes." Miyazato finished before the delay. "The golf course was more challenging," Miyazato said. "I needed better course management." Second-ranked Suzann Pettersen, returning from a since back injury that sidelined her for three tournaments, was 2 under after a 72. Wholesale Jerseys 2021 .S. military base for UFC: Fight for the Troops 3. LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers and catcher A. Y. A. Tittle Jersey .J. Ellis have avoided arbitration, agreeing to a one-year contract. The team announced the deal Saturday. Los Angeles has yet to settle with arbitration-eligible closer Kenley Jansen. He is seeking $5.5 million and was offered $3.5 million after earning $512,000 last year. Earlier this month, the Dodgers and star pitcher Clayton Kershaw agreed on a $215 million, seven-year deal. Ellis drove in 52 runs last season, his second as the teams starting catcher. Jeff Garcia Jersey . Lynn was tied for 16th entering the fourth round, six shots behind leader Paul Waring. First-half goals by Leighton Baines -- from the penalty spot -- and Kevin Mirallas kept Everton one point behind fourth-place Arsenal with three games left, and guaranteed United wont be playing in Europes top competition next season. "I think everybody knows that we are on track to make changes and do some different things," Moyes said on another disappointing day in his first season in charge at United. "We are rebuilding." Languishing in seventh position, six points behind sixth-place Tottenham, United may not even qualify for the Europa League -- an indication of the deposed champions decline since winning the Premier League last year by 11 points. Moyes left Everton after 11 years to take charge of United. But while his first season at Old Trafford has been extremely disappointing, Moyes replacement at Everton -- Roberto Martinez -- has been widely praised for guiding the Merseyside team to its best haul of points in Premier League history already. Everton, which has achieved the double over United for the first time since the 1969-70 season, played much the better football here and still has a great chance to qualify for the Champions Leagues qualification round -- something Moyes achieved only once. "I thought we were devastating on the counter attack," said Martinez, who revealed that his game plan was to let United have the most of the possession. "If anything, we should have scored more." A flurry of boos greeted Moyes as he emerged from Unitteds team bus before the game and then from the tunnel prior to kickoff, with many home fans unhappy at the circumstances surrounding his departure to Old Trafford and also his attempts at poaching Baines and Marouane Fellaini from Everton over the summer. Wendell Tyler Jersey. Fellaini ended up moving for 27.5 million pounds ($43 million) on deadline day in September -- he was an unused substitute here -- but Baines stayed at Everton and showed Moyes just what he is missing by having an excellent game and driving home a 28th-minute penalty to open the scoring after Phil Jones handled Romelu Lukakus shot. With Mirallas running beyond a wide-open defence to add a second from Seamus Colemans pass in the 43rd minute, it amounted to an uncomfortable first 45 minutes for Moyes, who was sat near a spectator dressed as the Grim Reaper and waving an imitation scythe in Moyes direction. The spectator was escorted out of the stands midway through the first half. The margin of defeat could have been a whole lot bigger for United, whose left side of fullback Alex Buttner and midfielder Shinji Kagawa in particular was over-run by the marauding Mirallas and Coleman. Steven Naismith wasted great chances in either half and David de Gea pushed aside a curler from Lukaku. Moyes said he "couldnt fault" how United played, adding: "We need to try and get rid of the bad things and do better with the things we should have done." Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard was called into action just twice, saving from Jonny Evans and Wayne Rooney. The frustrations of Rooney, Uniteds captain for the day against his boyhood club, were highlighted by a reckless challenge on Evertons James McCarthy that was fortunate to escape a booking. ' ' '

MIAMI -- Marcell Ozuna came into Wednesday nights game mired in a slump. Y.A. Tittle Super Bowl Jersey . He was 3 for 24 in the previous nine games, but hit a grand slam and knocked in five runs to help power the Miami Marlins past the Philadelphia Phillies 14-5. "He needed that," Marlins manager Mike Redmond said. "He needed to lock it in and have a couple good at-bats. Hes definitely had some struggles this month. ... Hopefully this is a spark for him and a spark for us." Christian Yelich, Garrett Jones, and Jarrod Saltalamacchia each drove in two runs for the Marlins, who have the best home record (18-6) in baseball. Nathan Eovaldi (3-2) allowed three runs--one earned--and 10 hits in six innings to pick up the win. "I felt command," Eovaldi said. "I had better command of my fastball this outing and I was able to make the big pitches when I needed to." Ozunas first career grand slam and seventh home run of the season broke the game open in the seventh inning. Miami led 6-3 with two outs before Jeff Manship loaded the bases and Ozuna smacked a pitch over the left-field wall for a 10-3 lead. "When I saw the pitch, I said, I got it. Let me not make a mistake. Just make contact," Ozuna said. Phillies starter Kyle Kendrick (0-5) came into the game with a 10-game winning streak against the Marlins, but lost his 10th consecutive game overall. Kendrick allowed six runs in 5 2-3 innings. "I wasnt good at all, falling behind in counts, missing over the plate, my fastball command wasnt very good," Kendrick said. "Guys scored runs and I gave it right back to them and thats whats frustrating." Domonic Brown homered and drove in three runs for the Phillies, who had their three-game winning streak snapped. Browns two-run home run pulled Philadelphia within 10-5, but Miami scored four runs in the eighth to post their highest run total of the season. Miami slugger Giancarlo Stanton came up with a pivotal defensive play in the fifth inning. With the bases loaded and the Marlins holding onto a 5-3 lead, Cody Asche hit a line drive to the right-centre field gap that looked as if it would clear the bases. Stanton raced to his right making a diving back-handed catch to end the inning. "The great catch in right-centre field was a game-changing play," Phillies manager Ryne Sandberg said. "That was potentially a 6-5 lead and a whole different type of a game." The Phillies scored two unearned runs in the first and the Marlins responded with two in the bottom half. After Stanton drove in a run on a ground out to give Miami a 3-2 lead, Tony Gwynn, Jr. singled to tie the game at 3 in the fourth for Philadelphia. Miami took the lead for good in the bottom of the fourth on RBI singles by Ozuna and Yelich for a 5-3 advantage. NOTES: After the game the Marlins optioned RHP Anthony DeSclafani to Triple-A New Orleans. LHP Randy Wolf (0-0, 1.80) will take DeSclafanis spot in the rotation and start Sunday against Milwaukee. ... The Marlins are averaging 6.0 runs at home compared to 3.4 on the road. ... Phillies SS Jimmy Rollins tied Richie Ashburn (2,217) for the second-most hits in franchise history. ... Kendricks 10-game winning streak against the Marlins was the longest active streak by any pitcher in MLB against one team. ... Philadelphia will send LHP Cole Hamels (1-2, 4.40) to the mound in Thursdays series finale against Marlins RHP Henderson Alvarez (2-3, 3.62). George Kittle Super Bowl Jersey ." Poti played in 824 regular NHL games with four teams in his career; the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, New York Islanders and the Washington Capitals.FIVE QUICK NBA THOUGHTS 1. MO CHEEKS (Pistons): Out as coach. Am I surprised? No. The team is dysfunctional and is a collection of parts that dont know how to or want to commit to playing team ball. Talent - sure theyve got that but they look like a summer AAU team with a bunch of guys that are looking to showcase their individual games. Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings are Exhibit A and B. When does President/GM Joe Dumars eventually admit that hes lost his way and submit his resignation? How many more coaches are going to be blamed for his moves? Maybe Lionel Hollins comes in and saves Dumars job. Hollins is a no-nonsense coach who wont tolerate whats gone on there of late. Better get this right and quick. 2. TORONTO RAPTORS SCHEDULE: Have played a ton (28) of road games already. At 14-14 thats respectable but the time to win the Atlantic Division and also try to claim the third seed in the East has come. 19 of the final 32 games are at home. They have under-performed at home with a record of 12-10 and for this season to take off in a positive direction again the assertive play must reappear. To have a really nice season you hang around .500 on the road which theyve done and you take no prisoners at home. The schedule has turned with no more than two games in a row on the road the rest of the way. Time to get it done. They are more than capable of doing it. 3.. Joe Staley Super Bowl Jersey. GORAN DRAGIC (Suns): You see his numbers (27 points and six assists) since he was snubbed from the West All-Star team. The man is on a mission. Without Eric Bledsoe he has kept his team at a high level. Hes wonderfully skilled but what Ive seen of late as well is a little nasty streak like hes got even more to prove. Good for him. Hes doing it. 4. TAJ GIBSON (Bulls): He has been given the opportunity to start and play more minutes and hes delivering. Love his energy and second effort. Improved his face-up game and can get his game off in the lane though hes a bit undersized. Considering that Carlos Boozer looks like a guy that will be amnestied next season its going to be important in this homestretch of the season to determine if Gibson can carry starters minutes and hold up effectively. So far - solid. 5. NIKOLA VUCEVIC (Magic): Back from a concussion and suddenly the Magic are beating elite teams. Hes a terrific young player who was an absolute steal for them. When hes played this year he is scoring over 13 points and getting close to 11 boards a game while shooting 50 per cent. The stability of having a guy you can throw it into the post and get productivity from is so helpful. Hes a tough guy on the backboards and competes hard. Knows and accepts his role and is a good long term fit for their franchise. A keeper. ' ' '

Kevin De Bruyne is happy with his goalscoring return to fitness ahead of an exciting finish to a fully loaded season for club and country. Pervis Atkins . The City attacker continued his comeback from a two-month injury lay-off against PSG on Wednesday, leaving manager Manuel Pellegrini to describe him as a difference-maker after his second goal in as many games.Despite the injury, the Belgium international has thrived in his first season since joining from Wolfsburg last summer, scoring 14 and setting up nine more in 33 appearances for the club. De Bruyne found the net in Paris as City drew 2-2 against PSG in their Champions League quarter-final first leg He has had a busy 12 months, including a move from Germany to England and the birth of his first child, and is set for a hectic few weeks with Euro 2016 on the horizon and the imminent arrival of new manager Pep Guardiola at City. But after his enforced injury absence, De Bruyne insists hes not thinking too far ahead.Im just happy to be back playing again, and in a couple of weeks the Euros will be here so its event after event, De Bruyne told Sky Sports News HQ.These days you cannot think about whats going to happen in four or five months because a lot of things can change. Its the same in a World Cup year, and now the Euros are coming. The season is fully loaded. De Bruyne suffered a knee ligament injury in the Capital One Cup You couldnt predict my injury, but it happened and I worked hard to come back as good as possible. I am happy to be back a little bit quicker than expected, and Im pleased with how things have gone the last two games.Physically Im a strong player - its been one of my strengths - so Im happy with the way Ive come back. I didnt expect to be able to do 75 minutes against PSG, and obviously the day after there was a bit more stiffness.I need more games because playing football is the only thing you can do to increase your fitness level. De Bruyne enjoyed an excellent season with Wolfsburg in 2014-15 De Bruyne enjoyed a spectacular campaign in his one full season with Wolfsburg, scoring 10 and assisting 20 as they finished runners-up to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.Wolfsburg boss Dieter Hecking largely built his team around the Belgian, and De Bruyne admits its been an adjustment playing alongside superstars at City.My confidence was high after an incredible year last year, but Im almost doing the same as I did then, he continued. The difference now is I play more positions. De Bruyne returned to the City team with a goal against Bournemouth Its more difficult doing that because last year I played 90 per cent in one position and the team was more around me. More people looked at me over there [in Germany] than maybe they do here [in England].My team in Wolfsburg was not as good as my team here because we have a few superstars that Wolfsburg didnt have. There it was get the ball to Kevin and well see what happens, and here I can go out of the game for 10 minutes and come back into it. That was never possible in Wolfsburg. But I felt really good at Man City from the beginning. You need to adapt to the team and to the life at home, but I think everythings gone very well from then until now - apart from the injury. I think you can see that on the pitch. City, who hold a one-point lead over fifth-place Man Utd in the Premier League, face West Brom at the Etihad on Saturday Night Football, and De Bruyne sees it as an opportunity to put the onus back on their rivals for a top-four place. Its a tricky weekend and if we win we can put pressure on a lot of teams because there a huge games coming up, he continued. Our schedule is not that easy also, so the most important thing is to get the three points to stay in fourth and put pressure on the others. Tampa Bay Times reporter Damian Cristodero Tweeted out Wednesday that Stamkos may not be ready to return once the Lightning schedule resumes on Feb. 27 against the Nashville Predators. "Stamkos said he has an X-ray likely on Monday," he wrote. "Best case he plays on road trip after break. Worst case he is ready for homestand on March 6." The 24-year-old centre suffered a broken leg on Nov. Charles Mann. . 11 and has continued to rehabilitate the injury in both on- and off-ice workouts over the past month. Stamkos had hoped of returning to the Lightning lineup before the Olympic break and potentially claim his spot on the Canadian mens Olympic hockey team, but he was ruled out for the competition on Feb. 5. One day later, his linemate Martin St. Louis was named as his Olympic replacement. In 17 games with the Lightning in 2013-14, Stamkos has scored 14 goals and added nine assists. ' ' '

A good way to describe Morgan Riellys season would be a gradual build. Jaire Alexander Jersey . It started in training camp when there were questions about whether Rielly would crack the Leafs opening day roster or be returned to the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. While he broke camp with the Leafs, Rielly had to wait until the teams third game of the season to see action. Then he played his tenth regular season game on October 26th against the Pittsburgh Penguins, meaning the first year of his three year entry level contract had kicked in. On January 15th against the Buffalo Sabres, another threshold reached as Rielly played his 40th game, meaning this season would count as a full season of service toward the seven required for unrestricted free agency. All the while through the first two months Rielly fought to claim an everyday spot in Torontos top three defence pairings, forced out of the line up on nine different occasions as a healthy scratch. But that appears to be a thing of the past now too; Rielly has not watched from the press box since December 8th against Boston. “Obviously he feels a lot more comfortable,” said Randy Carlyle, before the team departed for Florida on Monday afternoon. “Were starting to see the true Morgan Rielly. I think like any young player, theyre conservative in the early going; they dont want to make any mistakes.” Now a fixture among the Leafs top six defencemen and also seeing time on a second power play pairing with Jake Gardiner, Rielly is beginning to emerge in the form of a confident puck carrier. “I think over the course of the year so far, Ive been able to gain some confidence and Ive really got pretty comfortable jumping up in the play and trying to carry the puck a bit more,” said Rielly. Now with points in six of his last nine games (1-5), Rielly has moved into third among Leafs defensemen in scoring. Paired with Tim Gleason since midway through last Thursdays game against the Florida Panthers, the veteran defenseman has been impressed with the 19-year-olds poise with the puck. “I notice how well he skates with the puck and how confident he looks skating with the puck,” said Gleason. “Its something that I wish I had when I was 19, 20 years old. Hes ahead of the game I think at his age, especially as a defenceman.” After playing with Jake Gardiner for a stretch of 10 games, a partnership with Gleason might be just the recipe to free Rielly up to take chances carrying the puck up the ice. “I hope thats the case,” said Gleason. “Hes a puck moving guy who skates well; hes one of those guys who can lead the rush and thats tough to do in this league. He can go whenever he wants and Im more than happy to kind of keep the fort down and do my thing. I think its a good mixture for sure.” The reassurance that Gleason wont stray too far from home has been beneficial for Rielly. “I like playing with Jake but playing with Timmys been great, hes always back there playing good ‘D and that helps me because I like to jump up a little bit.” So far, the feeling has been mutual for Gleason. “I have a good time playing with him,” Gleason explained. “If he has any questions, were different types of players so I dont know if Id have all the answers for him on the offensive side of things but hes grown really well since he started.” As Rielly continues to develop into the player the Leafs hoped they were getting when they drafted him fifth overall in 2012, Randy Carlyle insisted the Leafs will remain cautious in their approach with the young defenseman. “We dont want to get too far ahead of ourselves with any young player, we want to make sure we continue to measure and afford him the ice time that allows him to develop but, again, we dont want to put him in situations that he cant possibly have success in.” Don Hutson Jersey .Y. -- A month ago, Syracuse was unbeaten, ranked No. John McNally Jersey .The Hanwha Eagles said the team was impressed with Morgans contact ability and base-running skills. The 34-year-old debuted with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2007 and hit .ST. LOUIS -- Jack Clarks comments implying that Albert Pujols used steroids were too vague to do any real harm and a court should dismiss the lawsuit pitting the two former St. Louis Cardinals stars against each other, Clarks attorney said Tuesday. A motion filed Monday on behalf of Clark seeks dismissal of the defamation lawsuit filed by Pujols in October. The suit followed comments Clark made on his St. Louis radio show, "The King and the Ripper Show," in August. Among other things, Clark said he knew "for a fact" that Pujols was "a juicer." Pujols has vehemently denied using performance-enhancing drugs. Clark and his WGNU-AM show co-host Kevin Slaten were fired within days of the comments, and the stations owner broadcast a lengthy apology and posted similarly contrite statements on its website. The lawsuit names Clark but does not name the radio station or Slaten. Clarks attorney, Albert Watkins, said Clarks on-air comments were too vague to cause real harm to Pujols. "You call someone a juicer, in fact, there are multiple definitions of juicer," Watkins said. "It could mean illegal perrformance enhancing drugs, legal performance enhancing drugs. Dexter Williams Jersey. "Simply saying that my client asserted that Mr. Pujols was a juicer, under the law that governs defamation actions, is not enough," Watkins said. Pujols attorney, Martin Singer of Los Angeles, did not return a phone message seeking comment. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages that would be donated to charity and asks for a determination and declaration that Clarks statements are false. Pujols now plays for the Los Angeles Angels but maintains a home in St. Louis County. Clark also lives in the St. Louis area. The lawsuit said Pujols "character and reputation are impeccable and beyond reproach" and cites his charitable work with the Pujols Family Foundation. The suit calls calling Clark "a struggling radio talk show host" who was chasing ratings in the first week his new show was on the air when the comments were made. Pujols, a nine-time All-Star, played for the Cardinals from 2001-11, before signing a 10-year, $240 million deal with the Angels. Clark played for the Cardinals from 1985-87 and was a four-time All-Star. ' ' '

LOS ANGELES, Calif. Kevan Barlow Jersey . - Clayton Kershaws first home win of the season was a perfect example of how the two-time Cy Young Award winner has made a living out of pitching through early adversity and getting stronger as the game goes along. Kershaw shrugged off a two-run homer by Jose Abreu in the rookies return from the disabled list, and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 5-2 Monday night. "It was one pitch. Thats all it was tonight. One pitch. But he was great all the way to his last one," Dodgers catcher Drew Butera said. Kershaw (4-2) allowed four hits over eight innings, striking out nine and walking none. Kenley Jansen got three outs for his 17th save. "I think Kershaw just continues to fight no matter what. If they get him once, hes going to keep it right there," Dodgers pitching coach Rick Honeycutt said. "Hes not happy about the home run, but hes able to put it behind him and keep going. Thats the sign of a guy with a short memory. The great ones dont worry about the past. They just know what theyve got to do going forward." Justin Turners two-run single keyed a five-run sixth inning in which all the Dodgers runs were unearned. "Thats how you win games. You take advantage of one little mistake, and a lot of times it ends up rolling into a big inning," outfielder Scott Van Slyke said. "Good teams do that. When they get the opportunity, they take advantage." Jose Quintana (3-5) gave up six hits through six innings and was charged with all five unearned runs. The Dodgers parlayed two infield errors, four singles and a walk into the five-run rally that put them ahead. All the runs came with two outs. Kershaw led off with a single and Matt Kemp reached on one-out grounder that went under second baseman Gordon Beckhams glove for an error with the infield overshifted to the left side. Yasiel Puig struck out on a high fastball and slammed his bat in frustration, but the Dodgers got a break when third baseman Conor Gillaspie fielded Hanley Ramirezs grounder behind the bag and bounced his throw past first base as Kershaw scored. "He had a chance to get the force at third, but thats an error and thats part of it," Chicago manager Robin Ventura said. "Q pitched a great game, going inning for inning with Kershaw, and he deserved a better fate. Theres no two ways about it. But when you dont play defence, and give a team like that opportunities, you leave that little crack in the door. And they kicked it wide open." Adrian Gonzalez drove in Kemp with an infield hit, and Quintana gave up a two-run single to Turner and an RBI single to Butera after a walk to Van Slyke. "Its always fun to get hits, and its always fun when youre part of the run-scoring," Kershaw said. "Sometimes with us, it takes a couple times to get through the lineup. I knew if I just kind of kept us in the game, gave us a chance, we were going to break out." Kershaw needed only 12 pitches to get through the first two innings and retired his first 10 batters before Beckham singled and Abreu followed with his 16th homer. The Cuban slugger was leading the majors in homers and ranked second in RBIs with 42 before missing 14 games with tendinitis in his left ankle. The White Sox were 8-6 in his absence. "It was nice, coming against a guy like Kershaw," Ventura said. "It didnt seem like he missed too much of a beat. When we have that guy swinging the bat good, were a better offence." The only other baserunner the White Sox had against Kershaw through the first six innings was Moises Sierra, who hit a dribbler to the right of the mound and beat the left-handers throw to first base with two outs in the fifth. Kershaw, who led the majors in ERA each of the previous three seasons, made only 66 pitches through six. "I was throwing strikes. They were swinging and my pitch count was low those first four, five innings," Kershaw said. "Theyve got some aggressive guys over there. It doesnt really bother me as long as I make my pitches early." NOTES: The Dodgers announced after the game that RHP Chris Withrow will undergo Tommy John surgery Tuesday. ... Abreu set major league rookie records for homers (10), RBIs (32), extra-base hits (19) and total bases (71) in April and was named AL rookie of the month. ... Abreu and Puig, teammates with Cienfuegos before defecting from Cuba to the United States, are among six Cuban-born players in uniform for this series. Petersburg of the KHL. Belov was a free agent last summer when he signed a one-year contract with the Oilers. In 57 games this season he had one goal and six assists with 34 penalty minutes in Edmonton. The "final hurdle" to testing players for HGH this season apparently involves the NFL and union agreeing on whether Commissioner Roger Goodell will hear appeals for violations other than a positive test, according to a person who works for the league. The person sent an email Thursday to The Associated Press to update the status of negotiations between the league and the NFL Players Association. The information was provided on condition of anonymity because the sides talks about the drug policy are supposed to remain confidential. The person said that while several issues standing in the way of HGH testing have been resolved, "the final hurdle appears to be" the unions desire to have someone other than Goodell rule on appeals that involve violations of the law or "demonstrated use" of a performance-enhancing substance without a positive test. The email adds that the NFL does not "believe it is appropriate further to limit the commissioners disciplinary authority." It also says: "We have made clear to the NFLPA ... that we are not prepared to resolve issues relating to HGH on a piecemeal basis. Two years after agreeing to HGH testing in the first place, we think the goal should be to reach a comprehensive agreement on all aspects of HGH testing so that the program can be fullyy implemented for the current season. Ahkello Witherspoon Jersey. " The league and union originally paved the way for HGH testing in the 10-year collective bargaining agreement they signed in August 2011, pending discussions to resolve various details. But two Super Bowls have come and gone -- and the 2013 regular-season opener is only three weeks away -- without a single blood test for human growth hormone having been administered. Since the current CBA went into effect, the sides have haggled over several aspects of the program, including the appeals process and the unions insistence on a population study to determine what constitutes a naturally occurring amount of HGH in NFL players. A memo sent to players by the NFLPA this week -- and obtained by the AP -- indicated that the population study process was settled, as was a tentative agreement to randomly test 40 players per week during the season. Thursdays email from the NFL employee refers to those as "agreed-upon elements regarding HGH testing." It also notes that the scientific experts in charge of determining a threshold for a positive test "plan to create a control group in addition to the pool of current player specimens" but says "there is presently no agreement of any kind involving a role for retired players in the study." MOORESVILLE, N. Michael McCrary Jersey .C. - Canadas Alex Tagliani will drive for Team Penske in two NASCAR Nationwide Series road course races this season. Tagliani will compete for the team on June 21 at Road America and Aug. 16 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Hell be behind the wheel of the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford that AJ Allmendinger used to win both races last season. "This is a great opportunity to get back in a NASCAR Nationwide Series car and to do it for one of the best teams in the series and one of the greatest owners the sport has ever seen -- Roger Penske," Tagliani said in a release. "Ive been able to run for The Captain one other time in my career in a stock car and we were so close to winning the race. This gives me two great chances to get my first Nationwide Series win. "And with the team winning both of these races last year, I guess you could say the pressure is on me to get the job done this season." Tagliani, from Lachenaie, Que. has competed on several circuits in recent years. He is a former Indianapolis 500 pole winner, capturing the prestigious pole position in 2011. "I have known Alex for a long time and he has driven for our team before, so he was the ideal choice to race the Discount Tire Ford for these upcoming road course events," Penske said. "Alex is a proven winner in both open-wheel and stock car competition. He has competed for wins each of the last two times he has raced in the Nationwide Series, including with Team Penske back in 2011. I think he, (crew chief) Jeremy Bullins and the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford team will be tough to beat at both Road America and Mid-Ohio this season." Brandon Williams Jersey .com) - Generally you want to be the guy who replaces the guy who replaced the legend. Domata Peko Sr. Jersey . -- Mississippi State was crushed twice by Florida last season, once by 35 points and the other by 25.TORONTO - Jay Chapman didnt get to hear his name announced at the MLS SuperDraft. BERLIN -- Arjen Robben scored a hat trick as Bayern Munich routed Schalke 5-1 on Saturday to extend its Bundesliga lead to 20 points, a league record after 23 games. Colorado Avalanche Gear . David Alaba opened the scoring with a deflected free kick in the third minute, Robben chipped in his first in the 15th, Mario Mandzukics header made it 3-0 in the 24th, and Robben claimed his second in the 28th, with a fine finish inside the far post. "It was embarrassing what we delivered in the first half," Schalke captain Benedikt Hoewedes said. "We had much too much respect." It was utter dominance from Bayern in the first half, with more than three-quarters ball possession, 409 completed passes to Schalkes 65, and a successful pass rate of 91 per cent. "The first half was the worst I have ever seen from us," Schalke coach Jens Keller said. His side improved after the break, and pulled one back through former Schalke player Rafinhas own goal off a corner in the 64th. Robben claimed his third from the penalty spot in the 77th, after Kyriakos Papadopoulos was sent off for conceding the foul on Mandzukic. TV replays showed it was a harsh decision. "It was fun today," Robben said. Schalke was beaten 6-1 at home by Real Madrid in the Champions League midweek, and sporting director Horst Heldt said, "Altogether it was a disastrous week." Bayern stretched its league record unbeaten run to 48 games after its 15th win in a row -- also a league record. Earlier, Borussia Dortmund took advantage of Bayer Leverkusens freefall by beating Nuremberg 3-0 at home to move to second. Leverkusen lost 1-0 at home to Mainz for its fifth consecutive defeat across all competitions, its eighth from 10 games. Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scored with his heel in the 37th minute for Mainz, which was simply cleverer than the home side. "Theres a big concern that well miss all our targets," said Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voeller, whose side faces an uphill challenge to overturn a 4-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and is already knocked out of the German Cup. Second-half goals from Mats Hummels, Robert Lewandowski and Henrikh Mkhitaryan gave Dortmund a comfortable win after a difficult first half. "We were often running around after them," Nuremberg striker Josip Drmic said. "They showed us how to do it and used their chances." Werder Bremen beat Hamburger SV 1-0 in the leagues 100th northern derby to leave its rival mired in the relegation playoff place. Augsburg drew with Hannover 1-1 and Eintracht Braunschweig drew with Borussia Moenchengladbach by the same score. Nuremberg keeper Raphael Schaefer made a host of saves to ensure a frustrating first half for Dortmund, and Tomas Pekhart hit the post for the visitors. The home side got off the mark in the 51st when Schaefer saved Lewandowskis header from Nuri Sahins free kick, and Hummels followed-up on the line. TV replays showed Lewandowski was marginally offside. The Poland striker hit his league-leading 15th goal in the 64th, when Mkhitaryan played him through to pick his spot. Mkhitaryan rounded off the scoring with seven minutes remaining to round off a successful week for Dortmund, which beat Zenit St. Petersburg 4-2 in the Champions League on Tuesday, after losing 3-0 to Hamburg the weekend before. "It was a tough piece of work," Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said. "Nuremberg will certainly get enough points (to escape relegation)." The same cannot be said of Hamburg. After beating Dortmund in new coach Mirko Slomkas first game in charge last week, the side slumped to its ninth defeat in 10 games. "Well fight against relegation to the last day," Hamburg defender Marcell Jansen said. The game was delayed for several minutes in the second half due to flares among the home fans. Goalkeeping mistakes were responsible for both goals in Braunschweig. Moenchengladbach scored in the 25th when Braunschweig keeper Daniel Davari turned Raffaels corner into his own net. The home side equalized in the 52nd when Marc-Andre ter Stegen -- who is reportedly joining Barcelona at the end of the season -- allowed Filip Daems back pass slip behind and into the goal. Stitched Avalanche Jerseys ... maybe even more than that. Maybe all season I have to take a few blows. Wholesale Avalanche Jerseys . -- The defending Canadian womens curling champions squandered an opportunity to take sole possession of first place in the standings Tuesday at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.SAN ANTONIO -- Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. unanimously outpointed Bryan Vera in a super middleweight rematch Saturday night at the Alamodome, rebounding from perhaps the worst performance of his career. Chavez (48-1-1) had winning scores of 114-113, 114-113 and 117-110. The Mexican fighter consistently scored with a big overhand right, his first landing squarely while Vera (23-8) was on the ropes in the third round in the non-title fight. Chavez capped it off with a jarring straight right in the middle of the ring in the 10th. Appearing to have a safe lead, Chavez mostly circled the ring and danced in the final round. Avalanche Jerseys 2021. Vera had a point taken away in the eighth when, while on the ropes, the Texan pulled down on Chavez from behind his head. In September, Chavez struggled while outpointing Vera in a disputed unanimous decision. Chavez failed to make weight, forfeited a six-figure portion of his purse and appeared to allow Vera to win the later rounds. Chavez appears to have revived his career and likely is in line for a title shot. It was his second fight in the past 17 months after a marijuana suspension in 2013 and a DUI in 2012. ' ' '

Speaking on TSN Radio 1050s TSN Drive with Dave Naylor on Monday, Colangelo said he had no intention of tanking the shortened 2011-12 season, but definitely wanted a high pick in the draft. "I wish that word wasnt used for headline reasons," said Colangelo, "but the story behind it was: how can we fix the system? How can we tweak the system to make it less likely that teams are rewarded for losing records? "I do believe that if youre as transparent as we were at the time - with our season seat holders, our fans, the market place and the media - everybody knew what the plan was and what we were going through. Aaron Rodgers Super Bowl Jersey . LOUIS -- The St.NEW YORK -- Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton said Sunday he wont contest a fine of more than $2,800 for squirting water from the bench at Montreal Canadiens defenceman P.K. Subban in the final minute of Game 5 of the Eastern Conference semifinals. "I obviously got caught up in the moment," Thornton said on an offday at the TD Garden. "Im sorry that this silly incident kind of overshadowed how my teammates played and the great win and how good this series has been. "Theres definitely more important things that we can focus on." The Bruins were leading the Canadiens 4-2 in the final minutes Saturday night when Subban skated past the Boston bench with the puck. Thornton squirted water at the Montreal defenceman, hitting him in the face shield. Angered, Subban approached the bench and exchanged words with Thornton. He then went to complain to the referee. "Somebody sprayed water on my visor at the end of the game. I couldnt see out of half of it," Subban said after the game, acknowledging the incident, while annoying, did not affect the outcome. "I dont wwant it to be bulletin board material. Reggie White Super Bowl Jersey. " Boston held on to win the game 4-2 and take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series. The Bruins need a victory Monday night in Montreal to eliminate the Canadiens and avoid a decisive seventh game in Boston on Wednesday. The fine of $2,820.52 is the maximum allowed under the leagues collective bargaining agreement with the union. The money goes to the players emergency assistance fund. Bruins coach Claude Julien said he didnt approve of Thorntons behaviour and let him know. "As a coach, you always want to support your players but theres certain things you cant support," Julien said Sunday. "I dont think I can support Shawn on those actions. "To me, I dont think we like seeing our players do that. Now whether he got caught up in the game or whatever, to me hes got to own up to it." At the Canadiens training centre in Brossard, Que., coach Michel Therrien seemed satisfied with the fine. "What are you going to do?" he said with a shrug. "Thats not something we appreciate, thats for sure." ' ' '
